Frequently asked questions
Can a QR code replace the mandatory information on a label?
No, and it does not need to: whatever regulation requires in print stays in print. The code is for what does not fit on the label — the full specification, extra translations, video, reordering — and for keeping that current without an artwork revision.
Can I change the content after the packs are printed?
Yes: that is the whole point of a dynamic code. The printed square encodes a short address of ours, and the page it leads to is yours to change at any moment, even with stock already on the shelf.
One code for the whole line, or one per product?
One per line is simpler to manage; one per product tells you which item gets scanned most and where. It is not a decision you make once and for all: changing the destination of any of them takes ten seconds.
Does the code stay readable on a curved or small surface?
A dynamic code holds only a short address, so the modules stay large and the pattern open: it is the mode that copes best with small print, curved surfaces and poor light. Before a large run, do still test it on the final material.
