Questions about the plans
Are static QR codes really free forever?
Yes, and without signing up. A static QR code carries your content inside it: once downloaded it works on its own, without passing through our servers. There is nothing we could charge you for, and no limit on how many you create.
Why do dynamic links need an account?
Because they stay on our side: a dynamic link takes a short code that can never be reused, a redirect we serve for as long as the printed material is out there, and a scan table that grows every time someone points a phone at it. The Free plan is enough — it is a sign-up, not a subscription.
What happens if I go over the monthly scans?
Your QR codes keep working: a code already on paper does not stop redirecting because a counter ran out. Scans beyond the limit do not appear in your statistics, and we warn you in time so you can change plan before you lose data.
Can I change plan or cancel whenever I want?
Yes. Moving up, the difference is prorated over the days left; moving down, the new plan starts when the current one ends. There is no minimum term to see out.
What happens to my dynamic links if I move to a lower plan?
They all keep working, including the ones beyond the new plan’s limit. A code already on paper does not stop redirecting because you changed subscription: whoever points a phone at it has nothing to do with your plan, and sending them to a notice page would be a harm done to them. What changes is from here on — while you are over the limit you cannot create new links, and to do that you simply delete one you no longer use.
How many pages can I create, and when does that limit actually bite?
Page limits follow dynamic QR limits: 5 on Free, 50 on Starter and 250 on Business. A published page has at least one QR showing it; the page limit matters mainly for drafts or when several QR codes reuse one page.
Does your name appear on the pages I publish?
On the free plan yes: a bar at the top with our logo, clickable, and a discreet signature at the bottom. On the paid plans both disappear and only what you wrote is left. There is no middle ground: half a bar would be a reminder of what you paid not to see.
Do the prices include VAT?
The price you see is the price you pay: we work under the Italian flat-rate scheme, so our invoices carry no VAT and nothing is added to the total. That holds for everyone, individuals and companies, in Italy and abroad.
What changes between yearly and monthly billing?
Only the price and how often you get an invoice: the features are identical. Yearly is paid once for twelve months and costs less per month.
